Build tinyEmail Integrations with Pabbly
Do more with Pabbly
If you are a fan of Pabbly, this article is for you. I'll show you how to use Pabbly to add integrations to your tinyEmail account.
Pabbly is an app that automates workflow integrations. It works like Zapier. Some folks like Pabbly because they say it's more cost-effective than some of its more established competitors, even though the number of available integrations is not as robust (at least for the moment).
The first step is to enable Pabbly on your tinyEmail account.
On the popup window, click Yes, continue. tinyEmail opens Pabbly.com in a new browser tab with tinyEmail on one side of the screen and a menu of options on the other side.
The dashboard displays.
Next, select the app that will trigger the workflow. I'll select WordPress.
Click the field and select a trigger for the integration. In this example, I select User Registers.
After selecting a trigger, Pabbly displays instructions that show you how to insert the webhook URL. Follow the instructions to complete the first part of the integration workflow.
If prompted by Pabbly, it's a good idea to run a sample response to test the integration with the base app. In the example below, I added a user to my WordPress site, and Pabbly displays the results.
Add tinyEmail to the integration. Use the search tool to find the tinyEmail app and click the icon.
Next, click the field and select an action on the drop-down menu. In this example, there is only one action (Import Customer).
Click the Connect button.
Fill in the required mapping fields and then click Save at the bottom of the page.
If you're adding contacts, it might not be possible to map directly to a tinyEmail audience with the drop-down menu. Instead, I copied the name of a pre-defined segment in tinyEmail and pasted the name into the field.
Map other required fields. In the example below, I click the field and select the email. All of this data comes from the sample response I generated in the previous step.
Finally, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save. Now, test the integration. In my example, I add users to my WordPress site. Pabbly pushes those contacts to my tinyEmail audience (as shown in the screenshot below).
That's it.
Now you know how to integrate a Pabbly workflow with tinyEmail.
