DNS Record Configuration for Shopify

Set up your custom domain

Follow these steps to create a CNAME record. This will help us authenticate your domain.


Verifying your domain

  1. Log in to your Shopify Admin account.
  2. Go to Settings and select Domains.

Click the domain for which you need to add a CNAME record. Click Domain settings and then select Edit DNS settings.

Click Add Custom record and then select the record type as CNAME record.




  1. Add the following records:
    Record 1:

    • Type: CNAME
    • Name: tec1._domainkey
    • Target: tec1.dkim.tinyemail.com
    • Proxy status: Off
    • TTL: 30 mins

    Record 2: 

    • Type: CNAME
    • Name: tec2._domainkey
    • Target: tec2.dkim.tinyemail.com
    • Proxy status: Off
    • TTL: 30 mins

      Important: Make sure to add both CNAME records for DKIM to your DNS settings to ensure proper email authentication.

  2. Verify your DKIM set up on tinyEmail.
