tinyEmail Merge Tags: Personalize Your Emails and Boost Engagement

Want to send emails that truly connect with your subscribers? Say goodbye to generic messages and hello to the power of personalization with tinyEmail's merge tags!

Merge tags are dynamic placeholders that automatically populate with unique data from your customer records, allowing you to create emails that speak directly to each individual.

Important
If a subscriber does not have data associated with a merge tag you added, tinyEmail leaves the personalized tag blank. You will never send the dreaded "Hello First Name" email with us!

merge tags

Merge tags appear as preformatted and in human-readable form when you add them. Note that the merge tag text automatically takes on the styling of the text around it. You can, of course, style the personalized text separately using the same text styling options available in tinyEmail.

Maximize Your Impact:

Combine Merge Tags with Segmentation: Create hyper-targeted campaigns by segmenting your audience based on demographics, behavior, or interests, and then use merge tags to personalize the content. For example, send a special promotion for running shoes to subscribers who have previously purchased athletic wear.

A/B Test Your Emails: Experiment with different merge tag combinations and messaging to see what resonates best with your audience. Try variations in your subject lines, calls to action, and the types of merge tags you use to find what drives the highest open and click-through rates.

Keep Your Data Clean: Ensure your customer data is accurate and up-to-date to avoid errors or irrelevant information in your emails. Regularly review and update your customer database to maintain data integrity.
