Integrate Shopify with tinyEmail (Zapier Method)

Connect your Shopify store with tinyEmail using the Zapier method.

It's possible to connect tinyEmail to your Shopify store using Zapier, but I have a better idea. Use our native Shopify app instead. You can use tiny email within Shopify, and you get a host of benefits.

How to connect Shopify with tinyEmail using Zapier. 

Let's get your storefront on Shopify integrated with tinyEmail. We will use Zapier as the integration tool here. Follow along with our step-by-step guide detailed below. 

Here are the steps:

1. Head over to Zapier to start integrating tinyEmail with Shopify
2. Select a trigger on Shopify to connect with tinyEmail
3. Authenticate your Shopify and tinyEmail accounts
4. Map your fields from Shopify into tinyEmail
5. Confirm sample data and send a test
6. Turn on your Zap

1. Head over to Zapier to start integrating tinyEmail with Shopify

Head over to Zapier's page for Shopify and tinyEmail integration. You can also search for Shopify and tinyEmail on Zapier to get started. 

2. Select a trigger on Shopify to connect with tinyEmail

Select which trigger or action causes data sync between Shopify and tinyEmail. For this guide, we picked syncing a new customer on Shopify to a new audience in our tinyEmail account. 

Quick tips:

1. You can create multiple audiences for each of your core Shopify actions like syncing abandon carts to an "Abandon Cart" audience and customers with a "Customers" audience on tinyEmail. 
2. You do not have to create an audience first on tinyEmail. In the following steps, for the field where you are asked to select a tinyEmail audience to sync your data with, you can type in a new audience name and we will automatically create it for you on our end. 

Click on "Try it" once you have selected the trigger on Shopify and the tinyEmail import customer action.

Confirm the next steps as shown above by clicking on "Get started".

3. Authenticate your Shopify and tinyEmail accounts. 

In this step, you will have to log in and authenticate both Shopify and tinyEmail with Zapier. Get started with connecting your source first, which is Shopify in this case. 

A new popup window will appear where you have type in your Shopify username and click continue. 

After you log in, you will have to approve and install the Zapier app.

Next, let's connect your tinyEmail account with Zapier. Click on the "Connect" button which will open up the tinyEmail login pop-up. Type in your TinyEmail username (which is the email address you use to log in) and password. And then click on "Login".

After you have authenticated yourself with tinyEmail, allow Zapier to use the "import_customer" action by clicking on the "Accept" button. 

4. Map your Shopify fields with tinyEmail

In this step, you will map the automatically pulled customer information by Zapier from your Shopify store with tinyEmail fields.

5. Confirm sample data and send a test to tinyEmail

In this step, Zapier will pull in one of your recent customer information and map that into the fields you chose in the previous steps. Confirm that the sample data Zapier pulled in look good and click on the "Send test" button. 

Next, log into your tinyEmail account and see if the same data you just sent via Zapier shows up in your new audience.

6. Turn on your Zap!

If everything looks good, you can turn on your Zap and have all new data synced automatically and instantly from your Shopify store to your tinyEmail account. 

That's it, you have enabled the Shopify and tinyEmail integration successfully.
