Measure Shopify Sales Conversions from tinyEmail
Get granular data
You can calculate the ROI of your tinyEmail marketing efforts.
Here's how. tinyEmail creates branded templates, pulls in your data, and, by default, sets up tracking code so you can understand the ROI of each campaign.
Let me show you the details.
tinyEmail adds UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) code to every hyperlink inside your email. The default UTM parameters are:
To enable this code, look for the Auto-tracking line on the Prelight checklist page. To change the setting, click the Edit button.
We recommend enabling auto-tracking when sending campaigns so you can track Shopify store traffic and sales back to tinyEmail messages
Log in to your Shopify account and click Analytics on the side menu. The dashboard displays. Click Reports on the side menu or click a View Report icon.
Ensure that UTM parameters are enabled. Click the Edit icon and check the UTM campaign medium, name, and source boxes.
Once enabled, you can see the number of visitor sessions coming from tinyEmail.
You can view sales and conversions on your store that come from tinyEmail. When you receive an order, scroll down to the order's Conversion summary block. Click the View conversion details link.
Among the session details that led to the conversion, you can see a section for UTM Parameters. This data tells you which tinyEmail campaign supported the sale.
That's all.
Now you can measure the effectiveness of your email campaigns across the funnel, starting from store visits all the way to sales.
