tinyEmail now offers a Suppression List feature, allowing you to exclude specific email addresses from your campaigns. This helps improve deliverability and engagement rates by preventing emails from reaching recipients who are not interested in your content.
Unlike other platforms that require complex workarounds or coding to manage suppressions (like using customer status status='Unsubscribed' or status='Inactive), tinyEmail provides a fully managed and user-friendly solution. Our powerful tool simplifies the process, making it easier than ever to manage and improve your email campaigns.
Here's how to create a Suppression List:
- Navigate to Audience: In your tinyEmail account, go to the Audience section.
2. Create a Suppression List: Click on the Add New button and select Add Suppression List from the dropdown menu.
3. Configure Suppression List: A pop-up window will appear with the following fields:
- Suppression Name: Enter a descriptive name for your list (e.g., "Unengaged Subscribers," "Competitor List").
- Suppression Type: Choose the required type from the dropdown menu (Email address, MD5 Hash, SHA256 Hash).

- Global Suppression List: Check this box if you want this list to be applied to all future campaigns automatically. If unchecked, the list will be local and you'll need to select it manually when creating a campaign.
- Continue: Once you've configured the list, click Continue.
4. Add Emails: You can add email addresses to your Suppression List in two ways:
- Upload Data from File: Upload a CSV or TXT file containing the email addresses you want to suppress.
- Add Manually: Enter email addresses individually in the provided field.
- Upload and Finish: After adding your data, click Upload. Your Suppression List is now created!
