Retention Reactivation is an extension of our existing Retention Integration. It automatically identifies dormant subscribers from your MD5-hashed suppression list who remain active buyers elsewhere on the web, surfacing them so you can re-engage them and recover lost revenue without any additional credit spend.

How it Works

This feature operates in conjunction with your standard Retention Lead Generation setup to safely reactivate dormant contacts.

  • Automated Audience Creation: When you complete a new Retention onboarding, the system automatically creates a dedicated, system-managed audience named "Reactivation from Retention.com".

  • Existing Accounts: If you already had an active Retention integration prior to this feature's launch, there is no need to worry. We have automatically created the reactivation audience for your account from the backend, so you can start receiving leads immediately.

  • Daily Syncs: retention.com will monitor your suppressed contacts and push any leads identified as engaging on your website into your reactivation audience.

  • Credit-Free Reactivation: Because reactivation leads are already part of your historical data, neither tinyEmail nor retention.com will deduct from your credit balance when these contacts are added to the reactivation audience.

Managing Your Reactivation Audience

To ensure your daily syncs continue to run smoothly:

  • Do Not Edit the Audience: The "Reactivation from Retention.com" audience is strictly system-managed. While it is technically possible to edit or delete this list manually, doing so is not recommended and may break the lead generation process from retention.com.

  • Failed Setup Recovery: If the reactivation audience fails to generate during your initial onboarding, the system will not leave you in a partially active state. The entire integration setup will simply fail and retry from the beginning.
