Traffic control allows you to manage the number of audience that needs to be sent through a campaign by adjusting the percentage of a list or segment. This feature ensures controlled delivery, enabling strategic targeting and testing.
Go to Audience
Click on Add New Segment
Select Traffic Control
There are two primary options for setting traffic control:
% Subscribers
Define the percentage of users to be included in the segment (from 1% to 100%).
% Subscribers Between
Select a range (e.g., 10% to 20%) to target a specific subset of your list.
This can be used to gradually engage inactive users by sending emails to a controlled group.
You can refine traffic control by targeting specific domains while considering user engagement levels. This is useful for recovery plans and optimizing deliverability.
Target 10% of users from Yahoo domains who have opened an email in the last 60 days.
This helps in re-engaging active users while monitoring deliverability and response rates.
